Who we are

This website is operated by Behomu Apartments Kampala, Mamerito Mugerwa Road, Kira, Uganda (“we”, “us”). We take your privacy seriously and process personal data in line with Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.

Information this website collects

This website does not have user accounts and does not store booking or contact forms on a server. When you complete the booking inquiry or contact form, your details are assembled in your own browser and passed to WhatsApp or your email application only when you choose to send them.

• Inquiry details you send us: name, email, phone number, travel dates, guest numbers and any requests you include. We receive these only once you send the message from WhatsApp or your email.
• Search preferences: your selected dates, guest numbers and apartment are kept in your browser’s session storage to carry them between pages. They are deleted when you close the browser tab and are never sent to us. Your name, email and phone number are not stored in the browser.
• Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and performance.

Third-party services

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address. If you choose WhatsApp, your message is handled under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy. Opening Google Maps for directions is subject to Google’s privacy policy.

How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry and confirm availability and rates.
• To manage your reservation and stay, if you book with us.
• To meet legal obligations, such as guest registration requirements.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send marketing messages without your consent.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and booking correspondence only for as long as needed to handle your stay and meet legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to its use. Contact us using the details on our contact page.

Payment information

Card payments for bookings are processed by Stripe, Inc., which receives your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number. Stripe handles this data under its own privacy policy (https://stripe.com/privacy).

Changes

We may update this policy as our website develops — for example when online booking is introduced. The date at the top shows the latest version.
